Who made all these rules? That you have to be married by a certain age? Out of the house, have your degree, have your career, have your life all figured out?
Maybe that's why students change their degree ten times and people change careers ten times and no one can settle down and relax into their life. Because they rushed it in the beginning, now they feel stuck.
Some people know what they want straight out the gate, and good for them! I'm happy for them. But honestly, most people don't. So, I ask again, what's the rush?
Why is it wrong to take the time to figure out what we want? What our actual purpose is? Instead of rushing out the door and then being left with what ifs?
Everyone has their own journey. And personally, I don't think it's wrong if it takes someone a little longer to find their way. In fact, it might be healthy. They may have less regrets later in life.
Live your life the way you ought to. Not the way society claims you should. Dare to dream. Dare to be you. And dare to live boldly and with purpose.
